I am thinking that the Star of David or whatever is really all about perspective and vanishing points overlaid one upon the other. Seeing and being seen; coming and going; there and back, etc.

Thanks for your remarks, quoted in the remainder of this message box, that started me thinking about this perspective thing.

Normally I think about factual presentations that seem contradictory in ancient literature in terms of perspective offsets that occur when binocular vision is contrasted with monocular vision the subsets of which are closing of one eye and looking out through the other and then alternating the arrangement.

Sorry about the long sentence, all, but sometimes sense requires them.
