Probably not identified as "the same fault lines", not necessarily even the same plates - but adjacent plates, yes.

The primary ridge of mountains that runs down the west coast of North America appears to represent the edge of a major plate - and there's a similar ridge of mountains running through the west coast of South America also, the edge of a smaller related plate.
