Destiny,

Wow, the NWO are out of control!!! I wish I could get Charlotte Iserbyt on more radio shows, as well as the Beverly K. Eakman Author "Cloning of the American Mind" I'll shorten my personal comments and I'll send it to those I think can help. I will remove your address, as well as your group of educators for their privacy.

What about Oprah, and Rosie O'Donnell, they love kids, or would mainstream media even get involved? It may be financial suicide if their corporate sponsors of the NWO drop them.

The other day, Montel was real brave, and did a show about woman who had their children ripped away from them with little or no reason. He's one of my favorite talk shows host. Maurie has such a negative picture of teens, sensationalizes their bad behavior, and comes on at 3:00pm when the kids get home from school. It's deplorable, just the language alone. But this must be exposed.

I know Alex is planning to bring Charlotte back soon. We have to tell WND, News Max, I Resist. They hold our freedoms sacred, and will publish what's happening in America, unlike Mainstream Media.

Children in Omaha area have been removed from their parents for refusing to give these drugs and it was aired on KMTV Ch. 6 TV, and I know this is going on all over the country. Here's a website: http://www.profane-justice.org

Pharmaceutical companies are the 6th largest industry, and psyche meds their #1 money maker. They are running out of drugs tetanus, cardiac drugs, etc.here in Omaha hospitals. This seems to be a conspiracy to promote psyche drugs, and dumb down the kids.

Law makers in some parts of the country, and government seemed to have been bought off by the drug companies, and being used by the NWO to poison them.

I visited the DDR (3 times) before the wall came down, and saw first hand how the communist controlled the children who reported parents and teacher for the least violation against the state. Children's occupations were picked for them. My friend wanted desperately to be a musician, he was told he was going to be an engineer, and that exact what he became. We are going to have a lot of future frustrated adults who will need even more drugs, and therapy.

I am not a professional educator, but was a psyche nurse, and I speak from experience. These drugs should only be used in extreme cases of absolutely out of control children having self harming, suicidal ideation, or violent behavior, but only SHORT TERM until their crisis is over. These meds are dangerous long term, and do not treat the under lying causes.

In the case of Bi-Poler/Manic Depression which is not a mental illness, but a chemical imbalance, the patients usually have to be on life long meds as Lithium which is manufactured in the body, but not enough to maintain a balance. It's one of the most missed diagnosis in alcoholism. Our doc always used Depakote until adulthood, because it had less side effects. I have been away from psyche for a few years, but that's what was being done then, and things could have changed.

Kids with a clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia by a psychiatrist, is a life long dx., the drug of choice was Zyprexa.

I do not go along with these general classifications of ADHD, and giving these kids Ritalin like candy. It's wrong, unfounded, and dangerous. There are reasons for hyperactivity, usually caused by family dynamics. Most of the time children are just not getting enough or the wrong kind of attention. Most have an attention seeking behavior vs true ADHD. http://www.addfraud.com

Obviously the drugs aren't working, one in 10 children are on psyche meds according to MSNBC. That's totally unnecessary and unacceptable. Love, attention, communication, patience, parent education; and not drugs are the answers.

I think all high school students should receive a course in parenting, just like home economics, or any other studies important to functioning as adults in society. We have some absolutely wonderful parents with great skills. But, many adults (I've worked with) don't have a clue as to how to raise children, lack the communication skills, patience or understanding; and repeat the errors of their parents.

Teachers are being force to teach children new death concepts like at Columbine, as well as other places. In Mass. teachers were forced to show graphic homosexual films. The kids are totally confused about morality; and the parents don't know what's going on in school. Now the BSA is being held to economic sabotage for not accepting a homosexuals in their organization. When will all this insanity stop?

When I did therapeutic riding with some emotional and behavioral challenged kids, there was a complete change in their behaviors. A therapist from work said I did more for them in a couple of weeks, then 6 months of therapy. They would do anything just to come here. Behaviors changed quickly with positive behavior modification. Some children were victims of abusive parents, (mental, physical, and sexual), and I do agree it exist, but not to point that those who force the drugs on them would have us believe.

I did nothing, it was the horses. The kids bonded with them, received unconditional love, which they weren't receiving at home. Finally they had some control in their lives (the good kind). If they could control a 1200# horse, they could take positive control over their own lives; using positive coping mechanisms to find positive solutions to their problems.

They got first hand experience of "Oppositional Defiance." Horses can be very oppositional at times. They had an opportunity to see themselves from a different perspective, the way parents, teachers, and peers view them. I showed them how to correct this with the horses, patience, and redirection.

In some cases the kids were so traumatized, I had to use mares instead of geldings because of the mental association of sexual abuse; and gradually over came their fears. However, we had the most disturbed kids in the area.

A study was done in TX with repeated offenders. They did therapeutic riding with the kids, and after a year 95% did not return to a life of crime.

Horses may not be the answer for all, some kids may be too afraid of horses. Boystown gave up their horse program due to the fear of being sued, but are using small animal therapy, and it's working well.

There is no other teaching experience greater than active student participation.

We need to look for alternative forms of therapy. The kids don't need meds, just more attention, and parental education.

There is also a program in NE, and in 2 days you can become a social worker. This is not only stupid, it's dangerous.

The other night there was a sit com episode about home schooling, which ended in a fiasco. They were obviously trying to send parents of America a negative message; more govt. intervention at work?

We can no longer tolerate this "Incrementalism."

I will forward your message, and post it on some e-Groups as well. Let me know any other way I can help.

When it starts some where - it usually ends up all over.

Subj: Urgent: Legislation Arizona

From Dear Colleagues:

There's good news, but your help is urgently needed: Several state legislators (a few of whom chair their state education and/or family services committees) actually GET IT! And they are championing our cause with bold new legislative proposals.

For years, you and I (not to mention millions of decent, upstanding parents) have viewed with increasing alarm the aggressive encroachment of educators and social services agencies on family prerogatives -- among them:

* unnecessary and unannounced genital exams on elementary school girls; * snoop surveys, offensive questionnaires, clinical screening instruments, and personality assessments (frequently passed off as
cognitive tests);
* curriculums and policies that undermine religiously based moral values;
* excessive emphasis on prurient themes and of self-awareness in the name of mental health;
* intimidation of parents to drug their youngsters for nonexistent ailments, misdiagnosed learning problems, and typical childish conduct;
* labeling and warehousing pupils (via Special Education classes) who fail to learn because of faulty teaching methodologies; and finally,
* years of zealous opposition to proven disciplinary methods, turning schools into killing fields.

In the wake of school shootings, sexual harassment laws, and the surge in juvenile crime, mental health proponents are becoming increasingly bold. There is a blanket assumption that most parents are amateurs
(i.e., without degrees in the social or behavioral sciences) and, therefore, unfit to make judgments concerning their children's welfare -- including everyday health and disciplinary decisions. Now, these zealots even want to take away a parent's right to refuse to medicate their child with psychiatric drugs (or to take their child off of one).

So arrogant have some school officials become that they act as if parents don't have the smarts to know when a drug is doing harm; for example, when the youngster's hair starts falling out. Discontinuation of a prescription, mood-altering drug increasingly is an invitation to child protective agencies to charge the parent with neglect and/or remove the child from the home.

However, certain brave state legislators are standing up to the fanatics and cranks, by introducing measures that will curb the excesses of mental health practitioners in the classroom (under whatever guise they bill themselves); return the concept of counseling to an academic function; and eventually revive schools as institutions of learning, places where parents are given backup and support instead of a hassle.

Obviously the job cannot be done all at once, much as we'd all like to cover the whole ugly business with a single, â?oomnibusâ? bill. Schools did not become social science laboratories overnight, and they will not return to academic institutions overnight either. But one has to start some place, and any parent who has ever questioned a school policy or practice, and been shocked by the rebuff, is on our side.

I draw your attention to three Arizona legislators: State Representatives Mark Anderson and Karen Johnson and to State Senator David Petersen. They have created companion pieces of proposed legislation that would make some of the worst excesses of history in the classrooms of that state -- intimidation of parents to place youngsters on psychotropic drugs; unwarranted and intrusive physical and mental evaluations; bizarre and destructive behavior/opinion modification activities; lack of effective parental consent and perusal codes.

Some remedies are spelled out in HB 2557, SB 1440, and SB 1438; HB 2400 and SB 1441; HB 2401 (not quite completed; language being added pertaining to mood altering drugs and behavior modification and SB 1442.(See links to bills and to Arizona Senate/House members at http://www.azleg.state.az.us)

Four other states legislators are in the throes of similar efforts to help parents reclaim their rights to direct the education and upbringing of their children. Success in Arizona would help clear their way; success in several states could lead to action at the federal level.

I am writing to solicit your immediate help. SB 1441 is the most comprehensive of the Arizona proposals and already is under heavy fire by school psychologists and counselors, protective service agencies, and school health clinic staff. The teacher's union will not be far behind. Under this bill, minor infractions of school rules are returned to their proper disciplinary context and cannot be considered as indicators of mental illness. Parents retain veto power over such controversial classifications as emotionally handicapped and learning disabled.

Informed consent carries a caveat that a parent be notified BY MAIL about any impending dissemination of surveys on lifestyle, sex, religion, political worldviews, etc. -- BEFORE any request for the personal information is made to the student. No longer would schools get away with sending a note home with a student, with the hope it will get conveniently lost. School staff cannot refer students quietly to mental health practitioners, much less directly transport children for physical or mental evaluation and treatment. In short, the bill leaves no wiggle room for those who would pressure youngsters to circumvent their parents.

There are real penalties for noncompliance with this measure, should it become law. Violators are liable for any legal or medical costs associated with the successful prosecution of a civil, administrative, or criminal complaint by a parent (for example, costs associated with taking a child off of dangerous prescription drugs like Ritalin).

Moreover, this bill is not like the federal Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment or state's baby Hatch amendments which, while well-intentioned, have no teeth. The mental health community is understandably livid, especially those who have worked tirelessly to usurp parental rights through the Individuals With Disabilities Act (IDEA).

Originally written to provide equal services to pupils with physical disabilities ranging from the temporary (broken legs) to the permanent (cerebral palsy), this piece of federal legislation, whatever its merits, is being used as a battering ram against states' rights and parental prerogatives by the mental health cartel. IDEA is being expanded to include all kinds of mental and emotional disabilities, from bona fide retardation and brain injury to questionable conduct disorders and just plain quirkiness. Parents are frequently deceived into signing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), believing their disabled youngsters will get a tailored program. What their children often get instead is a substitute parent, in the form of IEP teams. These teams of so-called experts supersede parents in all education-related decision-making. These children frequently wind up warehoused in so-called special classes with chronic troublemakers and bullies, where they learn virtually nothing, except possibly how to survive in a hostile environment. The school districts funding, meanwhile, typically grows with every student designated Special Ed.

As IDEA increasingly into a mental health mandate, school psychologists and social workers are trying to crush state-generated parental rights legislation by arguing that IDEA automatically renders such proposals illegal.

The oppositions letter-writing campaign against the model parent's rights/unprofessional conduct legislation in Arizona has begun. Last week a fist-full of opposition letters were overnighted to me by concerned citizens. The first thing I noticed is that every single one of them emanated from somebody connected to the mental health industry -- school psychologists and psychiatrists, school's guidance counselors, social workers, school health clinic staffers, and spouses of all the above -- in other words, mental health activists and those whose jobs might be jeopardized by such legislation. The problem of depressed, suicidal, and otherwise seriously troubled students, when alluded to at all, was vastly overstated. Syntactical, spelling and technical errors abounded.

I also noticed that most of the e-mail-type letters contained a reference at the top citing not just the number of the bill being opposed, but every proposed measure that carries prohibitions on psychiatric assessment, treatment, and referral services -- activities ranging from classification and placement in school; to examination, evaluation, and medication; to tracking, intervention and custody. This indicates that someone (or some entity -- perhaps the American Psychiatric Association) is monitoring bills in Arizona deemed detrimental to the mental health industry, and possibly to certain factions of the legal drug industry as well.

Of course, some state House and Senate members are balking too, either because they are afraid to offend the mental health industry or because they are on the same side. Three of the bills cited above already have been held up -- one because it was unfriendly to behavior modification, another because it limited the authority of social work staff, one more because intimidation was included in the list describing unprofessional conduct. Even a specification under informed consent -- that parents be advised of adverse reactions to medications from the bible of the medical profession, the Physicians Desk Reference --is under attack!

Can you imagine anyone with children's best interests at heart actually objecting to any of these things? Neither can I.

In conclusion, I call on parents and professionals representing a wide variety of expertise to examine the bills in question -- especially HB 2557 and 2400 and SB 1440 and 1441, which are coming up right away. If you believe, as I do, that these represent a step in the right direction on behalf of parents and common sense, fire off an e-mail (addresses below) as fast as you can to state legislators Anderson, Johnson, and Petersen affirming your support for their efforts. Then print out your e-mail and snail-mail it for good measure. If you, or your organization, has contacts in Arizona, please make it a priority to pass this urgent request along to them so that these brave legislators can take several fist-fulls of letters into the hearing room supporting these, and any similar, measures. Rep. Mark Anderson chairs Human Services and Sen. David Petersen is the Republican Caucus Whip. Karen Johnson chairs the Rules Committee. The Education Committee chairs are Linda Gray (House)
and Ken Bennett (Senate).

Now is our chance to stand up and fight. You donâ?Tt need to write long, detailed letters, unless as a professional in a specialized field you feel called upon to do so. A line or a short paragraph will do. Links to the bills and the e-mail addresses to all Arizona legislators are accessed easily on-line by following the prompts at: http://www.azleg.state.az.us

When the site comes up, either click on Bills and type in the entire HB or SB number, or click on members (House or Senate side) to obtain legislator's bios and e-mail addresses. For convenience, the e-mails of the three legislators who introduced one or more of above bills are given below. Many thanks, best regards, and good luck.

Rep. Mark Anderson = manderso@azleg.state.az.us
Rep. Karen Johnson = kjohnson@azleg.state.az.us
Senator David Petersen = dpeterse@azleg.state.az.us
