I heard on the news yesterday, they found a note in one of the sailor's pockets that one of their own bombs went off aboard the Kursk. But you're right, they could have interfered with the Sonar. It's certainly possible, they have the weaponary available to do it. The same item can be used to disarm a missle silo. I read about it, but sorry I can't remember what they call it, but I'm sure there are some experts who read this e-Group who do./S
