dear winter, i am not a fisherman but i like to eat fish.the fisherman is a mythical figure which attribution for sure i do not deserve. in these cold days i was very touched in listening often to the songs of the "winterreise" of franz schubert op. 911. a romantic metapher of the impossibility to mastermind our life because we are not able to understand our existence and our and others actions here on this world but we know (subconsciousely) that there is a different/ better world. until this better world arrives the romantic heros preferred often the death. (intresting parallels to the fatalism of the islamic and african culture!!!) the romantic art and its time deserve to be examined under this light. as far to my knowledge nobody tried to do so in this century.

dear winter, nomen est omen, once also geographical names were attributed on the base of profund historical (real or mystical) knowledge of the place. nothing is casuality. san salvador is our saviour.
