Samuel Logan Brengle in either _Helps_To_Holiness_ or _Heart_Talks_On_Holiness_ stressed the importance of shouting at times to disperse the evil spirits.

Brengle was a pre-Pentecostal old-line Holiness churchman with the very early Salvation Army. Back when the Salvationists may have been what charismatic Christians tend to call, "filled with the Spirit," or "annointed." Salvation Army still conducts annual (I think they're called) Brengle Institutes for its ministers/officers. Invitation only, I think.

Here's my advice.

Use live TV coverage and

Reach out and touch them with your minds (and wreak havoc upon their instruments)

Watch their satellite feed reactions

Or,

Which is what I do now,

Pray for them.

Ask God to do all of His will in their lives (which means whatever God wants it to mean)

I can't leave it there, however, I "have" to ask God to act in lovingkindness and mercy and to leave nothing undone.

I "have" to ask God to do for them all that I want Him to do for me.

I cannot change the fact that harm has flowed between them and me, them and us, but I can, in the name of Christ, determine that connection is one of blessing and not a curse.

Because I remember all the reprehensible things I've done and the harm I've caused others. I remember that I've been let off lightly by the Almighty. I remember that I've been forgiven, and I want other undeserving souls to have that, too.

God, who hears our prayers, is active and changes things.

It's more difficult than that first bit of advice above, but it's the right thing to do.

I didn't intend to go on like that when I started writing about Brengle. No, I don't think God's using my written voice to pass along a special message to all. Just got carried away and expressed my opinion.
