Because the commutation of Henry Lucas' sentence seemed so out of character for George W., it is important that we study it to see what it means. Does it tell us that George Bush is ONE OF THEM (whoever that might be) and has saved Henry to do a job or two for himself? Or, because the proverbial 'THEY' asked him to?

Or...might there be another reason for sparing the life of such a despicable human being?

I think there is.

If the story of Henry Lucas is true, then what better WITNESS AGAINST those that have perpetrated this HORROR! Mr. Lucas would be an 'Ace in the Hole'. George W., by this commutation, could be saying: 'If you F*** with me, I will give this man a voice, no matter how much you may believe in his incredibility as a witness; you and I both know that 'sh*t' has a way of sticking to the wall it is thrown at, no matter who it comes from!'

Yup. This makes far more sense. Indeed, why would anyone keep Lucas alive otherwise when they have so many manchurian candidates, et al? Why would George W. risk his political career on something that could brand him with such a terrible mark? The man is WAY too smart for that. I think Henry Lee Lucas is being kept alive because he is a walking dictionary for THE MACHINE in all of its horribleness. Indeed, George Sr. may have been the one to tell him so!
