Although I am not Jewish, I have been an admirer of Simon since I was a young lad reading about his exploits to bring Nazi war criminals to justice. That being said I have followed the developments of the "listings" of so called hate groups by the Weizenthal organization over the last few months with disgust and distain.

I think it is time for Americans to take a step back and survey the political environment amoung various special interest groups such as the Weizenthal Center. This year alone we have allowed these groups to demonize the Boy Scouts, various independent news groups and individuals. It seems that it is politically correct for these groups to incite the people against groups that do not agree with their rheteric by speading bogus propaganda, but it is a criminal offence for the rest of the nation to voice their opposition or dissapproval for their agendas.

I look around and I find that it is politically correct and mandated by law that my daughters are force fed propaganda that teaches them that homosexuality and abortion is morally and ethically acceptable, but if I voice my god given rights to teach my daughters that such behavior is not morally acceptable then I am subject to very stiff hate crime laws and I WILL BE REPORTED by the teacher.

I teach my daughters that what other people do with their lives is their business and I do not have a right to force my thoughts and beliefs upon them. However, at the same time I have the right to disagree with their actions and beliefs and I have a right to say that I do not accept what they are doing is morally correct in society. Personally, I find it offensive for anyone to force their beliefs that homosexuality and abortion is morally acceptable upon me... but I have found that to simply state that I find such imposition offensive and voice my opposition to being bombarded with propaganda is a criminal offense while the person who is offending me is protected by the same law... go figure!

I feel that legislation has gone beyond its basic purpose of insuring that our God given rights are protected to saying that the rights of some people or groups are more equal than others. To this extent organizations such as the Weizenthal Center have taken advantage of this and have they themselves become what they profess to fight.... they are a Hate Group evidenced by their actions and propaganda purely intended to incite others to take negative action against innocent people.
