Have you ever noticed that many of the scholars and advisors today who seem to make a living explaining to Christians what their religion entails and what they are supposed to believe do not even seem to be Christians themselves. They spend an inordinate amount of time huckstering for other religions and other homelands in faraway places. How many times do we see "awakened for Christ," and all the individual can talk about is Israel. Are we not told to store away the treasures of the soul. We are not told to covet prime realestate for developement in Jerusalem.
The word "Christos" is taken from the Greek and roughly means to be annointed with light. This is so simple I am oft amazed at those who do not seem to grasp this fact. The entire cosmos is annointed with light. It is what we derive when we split the atom, pure white light. It is pervades every atom and every molecule in the universe. This is what all religions are referring to when they speak of light. "The light of the world," the light of the cosmos. It is the life force which allows a daisy to live or a wound to heal. It is so simple!
It is one of the first expressions in Genesis, "let there be light." When we refer to Jesus as the Christ, or soul of the universe, this is really what we are saying. The bottom line is, do we pay homeage to the particular body the soul of the universe inhabited, or do pay homeage to the universal Christ?
The term religion seems to be another stumbling block. The word means "search for truth." The continual wars over religion are really people saying my search for truth is more relevant than yours.
The American Indians understood this search better than most. They referred to it as the great white spirit, "white light." They purified their bodies, sat in sweat mounds and engaged in long hours of meditation hoping to experience it.
One of the most advanced religions on the planet, in my opinion, is Budhism. The laws of Budhism in the search for the Christ light are very scientific and very detailed. They have an inscription on the very entrance of the Potala in Tibet which reads "A Thousand Different Monks, A Thousand Different Religions." They are very advanced in realizing that no two people will ever agree on all aspects in any religion. It is a personal experience. They also focus mainly on how to make their body an energy cell in order to harness this Christ energy, as opposed to killing each other over philosophical differences.
The religous technocrats are trying to scam you. It is a method of control. You must believe what they say are burn in hell. Take this tray and put some money in it so you will be saved. It is a method of subtle control. They themselves are controlled by lobby groups which dictate to them what is truth and what is fallacy. Their own religious colleges are terrified of deviating from the party line. You are never promoted to bigger churches and bigger paychecks through deviation.
Some even tell you that followers of other religions are the chosen of God. They infer to their followers they are wrapped up with a second class religion. I have always felt that when people view others religions as superior to their own, it is time to convert.
I have also noticed that when some seem to have made a personal inner discovery, there is always one there to label it as new-age malarkey. New Age is not new. It is really old. It consists of the ancient truths that have been hidden away in the Vatican, Smithsonian Institute, and other dust bins, to thwart people in their search for truth. You see, they don't want you to know the truth. They want to browbeat you, intimidate you, and take your money. Don't let them. Let them know that truth can never be locked away. It springs eternal from the heart and soul, not from dusty libraries.
