: One of the main ideas behind cloning is immortality.
(Then they're gonna have a long wait. :)
Human beings have two aspects, human (of the earth, earthy) and
being (of the heaven, heavenly).
We do not _have_ souls but _are_ souls ("...and man became a
living soul.")
"Soul" is inseparable from who we are, not a commodity we could
conceivably do without, or "sell off", somehow. We have the
capacity (and free will) to block the emergence of the heavenly
part through the earthly part. The result will show less of
love and truth and life, in expression, than if we did not block
that "divine source" from shining through. Block it almost
totally, and the result (in human form, on earth) can be
something we'd call "monstrous"; but more often is just
something we'd call "sad" and unfulfilled.
"Being" is immortal already; it exists outside "the earth plane"
where time and space are significant factors. "Human" is,
presently, subject to the slings and arrows of earthly
existence; most of us here now to read these words will have an
experience of physical/mental 'erosion', I'd expect (though I
don't think it's because our design is flawed; rather, it's
because we've been awfully clever at finding ways to
hasten its wearing-out). However, I don't think this is a
necessary, or even normal, part of "life on Earth"; a few of us
may be around to see that change, one day.
"Cloning" exists at the pleasure of the Creator, if it works at
all.
Someone - Patriotlad, I think - wondered aloud about the
billions now present on Earth, and whether some of them might be
the "raised dead". I think that's a very intriguing idea and
might have some kind of truth to it. However, I think
"reincarnation" is a hallucination, something that has a reality
at its core but has been misinterpreted in experience. It's
true that we "incarnate"; it's true that some (not
all) of us have been here, incarnate, many times before. But
the _person_, the _personality_, is not what incarnates; the
"being" is what does.
Can Earth ever be over-populated? I doubt it, for the same
reason cloning cannot achieve "immortality". No human being is
born into the earth, except as Divine Being incarnates into the
human form. The matter is not controlled (and not controllable)
from "the earth plane" but requires the willingness for it to
occur, from the higher plane of "being". Any 'manufacture' of a
human body, through cloning or any other method, does not
obligate Being to incarnate in it. There is not that kind of
control, here; Spirit precedes Form, and not the other way
around.
: THE FULFILLMENT OF THE PROPHECY OF THE BEAST
: If Bush comes to Power, then nothing that anyone does will
: matter. Nothing. He is the prophecy of the Beast
Doesn't matter: prophecy is not obliged to be fulfilled.
We're "living in separate realities" together, and each of us
has more control over the shape and form of that reality than he
or she realizes. We're creating that reality right now; we've
never stopped creating it.
In fact, no one can _stop_ us from creating it, except as we
choose to be stopped or redirected.
The "fear" that MHP and tenavision spoke of is the primary way
it's being done, currently. Many voices seek to persuade us,
"There are giants in the land!" and to hold back from owning our
worlds-of-responsibility and living our lives in the fullest
expression of who we really are. We're being "driven indoors"
by tales of death by chemtrails and of blue lists and red ones.
Surely it is the fear itself, and the being driven indoors, that
is what is most wanted by those who wannabe the powers-that-be.
The truth is more likely this: "We are well able to inhabit the
land." (Not a question of whether there are giants in it -
perhaps there are - but a question of whether we're well able
anyway.)
: Either way, whether Bush steals this election now or in 2004,
: his rule will literally be the final blast that leads us to
: the Mayan dates which have this biosphere terminating
: around 2012.
2013, actually, but there's nothing in the Mayan wisdom that
says "the biosphere will then go bye-bye", only that this is the
conclusion of a 26,000 year cycle. A sub-set of the Mayan folks
(Jose Arguelles and his Dreamspell group) are saying, on the
contrary, that Mayan time is about to be restored, and with it,
peace on earth. They are saying there are folks on the planet,
Maya (said to be mirroring our movement on the other side of the
galaxy), who are very aware of us and are "rooting" for us to
succeed.
Before much longer, Earth will again enter the Photon Band.
We're now in a time when, probably for the first time in about
26,000 years, not only Earth but also the Sun will be in the
Photon Band, for the fulness of a year's cycle. Rather than a
time of destruction, it is more likely this is a time of "rising
higher" vibrationally. The Dreamspell folks are actively
working on restoring "natural telepathy", right now;
try to imagine the American political scene if telepathy were a
common feature in everyday life. :)
Regardless of anyone's plans to the contrary, "God bats last" in
all this. I think we're in a time when "the best-laid plans of
mice and men" are more likely that ever before to go awry.
Misters Bush, Gore, and Clinton are among the ones relying on
such planning (kinda like Pharaoh of old, who, I'd expect, had
not included the parting of the Red Sea in his plans).
: Sadly we are literally at the threshold of The Great Dying.
: I mostly feel sad for the very young who have never loved,
: raised a family or lived to give their dreams a shot at
: reality. They will suffer like the rest of us, but without
: ever having a choice. We are their only hope and we are
: letting them down with apathy.
Or not. :)
Many of us _chose_ to incarnate at this time.
There's a reason we did.
