It's in my heart that would should end, now and forever, any use of the contrived word "sheeple".

While it is concisely descriptive of something, nevertheless in use it tends to be divisive and is therefore counter productive of the very goal its use might hope to achieve.

There are very few people who would accept the term "sheeple" for themselves. Therefore most people will reject the term, dig in their heels, and resist the notion that perhaps there's something they need to "wake up" to. Instead, they'll tend to resent the person using the term, and hope he or she receives his/her comeuppance. That's not helpful, for anyone.

Further, I notice that many people who use this term are _angry_ over the fact that they themselves (believe that they) are awake and aware of all the trouble in the land, but can do little about it unless all the "sheeple" will also wake up and take action, too - and that, therefore, the "sheeple" are now the ones who are frustrating the awakened ones, from solving the problem.

The real frustration, then, is with oneself, and one's apparent inability to bring the others to a wakeful state (in which case, the anger is misplaced).

But perhaps this is what's true: The ones who are now wakeful are the very ones who are supposed to be.

Perhaps the point is to relax with that fact, and to waste no further attention or effort on jolting awake our fellow human beings who are yet slumbering. Perhaps they're simply not supposed to be awake yet, but will be along in a little while.

Whether that's true or not, it's generally wisest to "Shine your light upon the path, not into their eyes" (which hurts, after all).

By its very nature, sovereignty cannot be imposed on or given to another. It has to be accepted, realized, invited, asked for.

The world we find ourselves in today is being ruled by spirits of guilt, shame, doubt, condemnation and fear. The way out of it is not by increasing those spirits (through calling people names), but by increasing other ones - forgiveness ("no debt exists"), friendship, love, courage, integrity, honor - all those spirits that are of Life. When that is done, then people have a clear choice as to which path they shall choose for themselves.
