A Coup De Main, eh? Sounds like we need a hero or two in high places to lead us out of this political desert in which we find ourselves?
Speaking of that, do you know who Gerry Spence is? He was the attorney on Larry King during the O.J. Trial. (He wore the signature leather coat.) Gerry Spence has written a quite incredible and passionate book called: Give Me Liberty!

He says that we are the new American Slaves and puts forth a pretty good case for his conjecture. In fact, the book is startling in its assertions and well worth the read, if you haven't read it already. Anyway, I bring it up because he comes to mind as being someone who might be interested in helping in some way. Even as a rallying point. This man is truly passionate about freedom and has the courage to say so. He is definitely NOT your usual lawyer and says that the basis of our problem lies in campaign finance. And of course, we all know that much of that comes from overseas.

I don't know...certainly it is a longshot, but he has a comment page where he invites people to talk to him and ask him questions. What if several of us wrote to him, each from our own perspective and asked him if he'd be interested in getting involved? I have a hunch he probably doesn't even KNOW about the 13th Amendment. He does not mention it in his book.

The other individual that came to mind is Ross Perot, though I don't know if he has the same passion that is found in Gerry Spence.

Getting South Carolina to finish its job would be a way of getting this entire process out in the open to be sure. It is supposed from your comments that you have already tried to figure out a way to do this. What is it we really need here?

I did not understand the above sentence. What do you mean by 'propositions put forward against...'? Does this mean George W. is a 'yes' or a 'no'?

What a wonderful discovery to find this exists and you've already done all the work! Gives a freedom-minded person great pause: 'You mean there might actually be avenues of repair!?'
