Why not trust premonitions? The whole thrust of this forum is to help us all discover what the true powers of the mind in a human being are, and how they may suborned, perverted, or changed -- even against one's will. As of 1:00 PM EST today, the recount in Florida is proceeding. It is for sure that both sides will discover ballots that had gone "missing," and that some absentee ballots will be disqualifed on all sides.

It is my estimation that the total vote for Ralph Nader will rise slightly in this recount, and that spells bad news for the New World Order's Algore. However, by law, the voting in Florida cannot be certified until all of the absentee ballots cast by military personnel are received and counted. The deadline for that is November 17th, as Florida allows ten days past the election for those military ballots to arrive.

This tells us precisely why the Clintonista crew has deliberately tried to sabotage the distribution of absentee ballots to on-duty personnel all around the world. A very high percentage of those soldiers and sailors are registered in Florida because it has no state income tax and because vehicle registration fees and taxes there are so favorable. It has also been noted that military men and women often top 60% in their voting patterns, and one can expect a large number of them will side with George W. Bush or Buchanan, either of which hurts the real prospects of the Algore.

What troubles me is the issue brought up by a local talk radio host here in Connecticut, today: if an Elector dies between today and the date appointed for Electors to assemble in their respective State Houses for their balloting, there is no provision to replace them. The total number is simply decreased from 538 to 537 and so on. As far as I know, the only time this happened in the past, it did not affect the outcome of the presidential election. It is also the case that twenty-five of the States have no provision to enforce any discipline over those Electors, and that twenty-five States have laws which can create fines or penalties for Electors who "bolt" and vote against their party's candidates, but even so those votes cannot be disqualified and the Elector cannot lawfully be prevented from casting his or her ballot! The only disqualification that is possible occurs if the Elector is already a federal elected official of some kind, but that is usually caught by the Secretaries of the States where Electors are put on the lists by their respective parties. Again, if such a disqualification does occur, it simply decreases the number of Electors in total.
