It occurs to me, perhaps the message is in the context, not the content.
What I mean is; the intention isn't to poison Pepsi, it's to show they're prepared to unleash sleepers worldwide, in outright attacks. By using the idea of "poison Pepsi," they reference Coke's problems in Europe as the reason why.
What I find interesting is the article goes out of it's way to tie U.S. Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky to an earlier meeting this guy tried to crash. This suggests she (or her posse) are the recipients.
I'd be interested in seeing the documentation Daniel Chagashvili left behind, which appears to be the basis for the claims.

Well, since you asked...
Not that I really have another interpretation, but I have found it odd that something with absolutely no food value whatsoever that actually rots your teeth is considered a basic food group in this country. And I've found it odd that two products that basically are the same should have so much money to spend on such a raging competition.
Then I read something about Bush purchasing a Pepsi bottling plant in Viet Nam to process cocaine smuggling operations, and it all began to get even more murky. Ergo, what you say here makes sense.
Seems to me the most revolutionary thing any of us could do on this planet is to drink water.

If Pepsi really does belong to Faction Two and Faction Two really does care more about the "little people" than Faction One does --
Maybe they should prove it to the "Little People" and announce they will no longer use Aspartane to poison us.
Pepsi and Frito Lay are both part of PepsiCo -- Several months ago, Frito-Lay announced that it would no longer buy genetically engineered corn.
Rumor Mill News explained the real reason they did this -- They wanted to continue to sell their products to Europe -- and they have had advance warning that Europe will refuse to buy anything that is made with genetically modified food.
If PepsiCo cares about the "Little People" of Europe, maybe they will care about the "Little People" of the rest of the world -- and take Aspartame out of their diet Pepsi.
Just this week the media announced something that we conspiracy theorists have known for decades -- saccharin does not cause cancer.
How did saccharin get linked to cancer? Ask the shareholders of Aspartame --
If Pepsi wants to continue to market a diet soda -- they can give the public some choices -- they can make Pepsi with sacharine or with estevia or Kiwi Fruit concentrate (Sweet Balance)--
