This is an email received from Les Coleman's attorney, Michael Meehan ---
To All:
Just so you are all aware, I am working on Lester's appeal for free. There are no pro-bono funds available. The notice of appeal must be filed within a month of the finalization of judgement, and then the appeal process begins. This will require that I review the entire trial on video tape (which is over five days worth of recordings), and then detail every violation of Mr. Coleman's rights, and outline the violation to the courts (citing the tape and time stamp).
I realize the benefit of having this done expeditiously, and if I could I would do it tomorrow, but it will take more time than that. If someone knows another attorney in Lexington who is willing to do this work quicker than I, then I will be more than happy to help them.
