Today Rudy Guilani announced he has prostate cancer. When asked if he felt the treatment needed to get rid of the cancer would interfere in his bid for Senate, he hemmed and hawed and did not positively state he stay in the race.

I expect that within a few short weeks, we will hear that his "family" has convinced him to withdraw from the race and devote his time to healing himself.

Cancer -- whether it is real or CIA-Cancer -- gives him a legitimate excuse for withdrawing. He will not lose face, therefore, he will be able to run for Govenor or Senate in the future.
