Good news for the homeless and hungry. They need not go hungry again.

According to Rabbi Morris N. Kertzer in his book called “What Is A Jew” (World Publishing Co. 1960) he states the following in the section called “Do Jews Observe a Ritual of Grace at Meals?”

“The dominant theme of the mealtime benediction is thanksgiving. The family gives thanks to the Great Provider for ‘His loving kindness day after day,’ and humbly asks that they be worthy ‘in the sight of God and man.’ It is also a Jewish tradition that the doors of the home remain open at mealtime, so that the hungry stranger may enter and be fed.”

I like this Jewish tradition.

Now all the homeless and hungry need to do is find out where Jews live and present themselves at their open doors at mealtimes. After all, this is their tradition. This is according to their Great Provider. This is part of their proud tradition. Everyone who is homeless and hungry are certainly strangers to Jews so there should be no problem in getting a place at their table.

It is important that the homeless and hungry act upon this information immediately so that the Jews may practice their worthy traditions. The homeless and hungry would be rendering the Jews a great service, a chance to show off their Jewishness in a positive light for a change. And don’t forget to remind the homeless and hungry to bring along the hungry and abused Children. They’re not hard to find. Just listen for their screams coming from their rat-infested ghettos.

Hey, and what about this? Maps to the homes of the Jews would be of great benefit to the homeless and hungry to assist them in locating the right homes in their area. Mapmaking could become a great business for some down and out entrepreneurs. The times that each Jewish household takes their meals could really add value to this map-making project.
