Rayelan: The Rumor Mill has done it's job.

"Agents" of the Mill discovered an "incident in progress", reported the location of the active "Thread" and encouraged others to follow it. That would be my understanding as the function of this site. To INFORM of such incidents and when it is done in a timely manner such as the Pine Ridge incident, then the readers of this page can be informed in "LIVE TIME" --

It is unfortunate that one of the "reporters" from the "inside" had an agenda to propagandize the event to a degree which included erroneous information. That is not the problem of The Rumor Mill, but of the individual concerned. They must "deal" with the distribution of false information in their own life.

There will always be those that want someone else to "chew their food" for them, but I prefer to do my own analysis -- I have seen the "pre-analyzed" news from the mass media and consider those that faithfully consume it to be in the process of self poisoning. I would much rather have the story of Pine Ridge reported and then "sift through" the pieces and figure out what is actually happening myself than rely on the "Talking Heads" -- I have been at the site of more than one "incident" that I later saw the media reports on and was questioning myself as to whether I had actually there or not... the "details" of what actually "came down" and what was reported varied to such an extent.

I followed the "Thread" until Rev ThurderLight reported that the "armor and 200" FBI agents was false information... and so it should have been reported... I don't see what the problem is. -- There are some now making a "Big Deal" of the entire reporting of the protest and wildly flailing about threats of legal action to those that dared to report it on the internet -- To those I say "GET A LIFE" -- and please make it as distant from mine as possible.
