First, I agree with the info in the original post, up to a point; I agree with Rixon's reply, up to a point; I agree with PP's counter, up to a point. The points of agreement in all three cases are narrow; I disagree with most of what is posted in this thread.

Much of the original Twelve-Step Symptomology tries to justify several types of suffering. Enlightenment, be it by this particular flavor of Jesusism or by something more outre, does not work like that. Individual souls are never given more than the Universe (God?) thinks they can handle. There may be ordeals, and they may be painful, but God does not wake up seekers in the middle of the night to put ideas into their heads. Mind-controllers do.

The vivid dreams of killing and of hunting/hunted are also symptomatic of mind control games. As is the alienation from family. This may occur as a consequence of real enlightenment, but ought to be transitory. Dreams are revelations, and if you dream of being pursued, odds are you're being pursued by entities you should flee. In cases not covered by this rule, honi soit qui mal y pense.

Or, you are every character in your dreams, and you are entirely responsible for their every act, like it or not. Your dreams are private dramas, played just for you, and they come from your soul. If someone tries to separate you from your dreams, that person wants your soul.

If you meet The Buddha on the road, kill him. Likewise Jesus, Moses, Lao-Tse, and especially Allah. They are all shades. You only are real.
