This has been going on ever since the non Native American set foot on the ground that was to become the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We can even go further and talk about mass killing of whole villages of "INDIANS" just because of the color of their skin in retalation for the death of one "WHITE" person. Lets not forget the great "BUFFALO" HUNTS that almost caused the extenction of that great animal, and the stravation they caused! or the mass hunting of other animals just for their skins. As the population grew forced the Native Americans further west and on to smaller peices of land called reservations!! Which even today there are people out there who want to take that away from them so stealing land is nothing new. Oh, lets not forget the LIQUOR or the DISEASES (Small Pox etal) we gave to them.
To say my views are jaded is an under statement. My Native American blood comes from my fathers side of the family. One Grand Mother was Shawnee and another was Cherokee.
My only fear is that if the SHOSHONE NATION appeals to the UN and the UN gets involved it would be hard to get them(the UN) to leave.
