There were a few postings on this board concerning the work of Rudolf Steiner, which I found really interesting. I think his analysis of the Ahrimanic/Luciferic interaction is dead on. In current politics, I see the Republican party as Ahrimanic and the Democratic party as Luciferic. They play well their role to distract us and drive us away from the real issues.

Unlike the author of the text below, I believe the human incarnation could very well be Luciferic. Or at least Ahrimanic with a Luciferic exterior. I think this because the materialism has been so strong during this century that the people will be more naturally led to some kind of "spiritual renaissance" which will be most likely fake and synthetic (Luciferic).
