The oldest and most popular of the lists is the "Ru Mills List", now known simply as (RMNEWS). This list sends very few messages, only three or four a week. However, some weeks require more coverage and as many as 10 a day will go out... but only if the news is breaking news that ISN'T COVERED ANYWHERE ELSE!!

This emailing list gets up to 300 emails a day! Only subscribe with individual emails if you have nothing else to do but read your emails. Some people subscribe with the "digest" version, all the emails from the day are sent in one email!

Most people read this "Emailing List" online. The link to the message page is on the Rumor Mill News webpage next to the READING ROOM. The reason most people join this group is to have posting priviliges without having to have their emails approved, or they have a computer that cannot access large webpages.

The next emailing list is the Volunteers & Patrons emailing list, aka THE VOLUNTEER BRIGADE!

This list was created for people who have volunteered to help Rumor Mill News in some way, either with money or time. It started out to be a list that asks for help when needed, but as time goes on, this list is going to "morph" into a very special list! Please use the "Honor System". Only join this one if you are a REAL volunteer and/or PATRON (aka A RUMOR MILL NEWS ANGEL!!"

The best way to ask a question or send a story is to one or more of these mailing lists. The Publisher of Rumor Mill News still works a full time job to pay the rent and overhead. Needless to say, that leaves virtually NO time to do anything but update the webpage. Emails usually get read, but many times they do not get answered, simply because there is NO time!

If you have a question, send it to RMNEWS UPDATES You will probably get your question answered very quickly from one of the other readers, writers or researchers who read the page everyday.

The most important reason to join one or more of these emailing lists is to find out what has happened to the webpage when it is NOT where it should be! Many people have gone to the Rumor Mill News webpage and received unusual notices such as "FORBIDDEN", or webpage moved. If you are on one of the emailing lists you will find out what has happened to the webpage, and you will be kept UP TO THE MINUTE on breaking news!
