A longtime D.C. staffer lays out where the Trump vs Deep State war is at and where it is now likely headed:

“…Regarding the silly DNC lawsuit against everyone/everything 2016 Election-related under the sun. They’ve been keeping that in their back pocket for a while now. The fact they played that card shows how desperate they are. The narrative is slipping away from them. They need to keep the truth hidden regarding what they did and what they’ve been doing with our elections for a very long time.”

“…Trump remains vulnerable to attack but he’s built up some impressive defenses and is quick to react. Know this. He has proven to be one tough SOB. Most would have collapsed by now. Trump is an absolute beast. I don’t know how he’s managed to hold on this long and now has the strength to be fighting back so hard. Amazing.”

“…A big background player in all of this is Clapper. Look for his name to suddenly pop up with a lot more frequency in the coming days.”

“…Besides the Trump White House, there are three main camps in all of this: the Clinton machine, the Obama machine, and the Deep State which controls the media narrative. The Deep State appears to be siding with the Obama machine which is leaving the Clintons more exposed than they have ever been. The unknown is who the Trump White House goes after the hardest from here on out. For now, it looks like they are letting their enemies knife one another. Smart. I’ve never once said Hillary Clinton could face charges. Guess what? I’m saying it now. She could. It really is getting that intense. Some in the media know it. They’re doing everything they can to prevent anything like that from happening but if they have to choose they’ll choose Obama over the Clintons and the Clintons know it.”
