And a dusting of rare snowfall on Mt. Diablo? Here's today's report about snowfall on Mt. Hamilton yesterday and the possibility of snowfall on Mt. Diablo:
Here's a report with a photo showing snowfall on Mt. Diablo a year ago:
A swarm of small earthquakes in the town of Diablo California at the foot of Mt. Diablo began at 4:20 p.m. EST a week ago and just produced a magnitude 3.3 at 8:29 a.m. EST today February 23, 2018 the largest in or right near Diablo since a magnitude 3.5 at 5:15 p.m. EST June 8, 2009 (and the date June 8 is 260 days before the date February 23 btw...so today's is the biggest Diablo quake in 8 years and 260 days)
4:20 p.m. EST 2/16/2018
8:29 a.m. EST 2/23/2018
5:15 p.m. EST 6/8/2009
The biggest Diablo California quake before that was a magnitude 4.2 at 10:18 p.m. PDT (local time) Friday October 10, 1986.
That was the same day a 5.7 quake caused considerable damage in El Salvador at 10:49 a.m. PDT Friday October 1 0, 1986:
That day of October 10-11, was a big day for earthquakes "in diverse places" for some reason:
Pakistan 12:26 a.m. EST 10/10/1986
Eastern Tibet 3:59 a.m. EST 10/10/1986
Guam 10:36 a.m. EST 10/10/1986
Romania 12:16 p.m. EST 10/10/1986
Jakarta, Indonesia 12:48:24 p.m. EST 10/10/1986
El Salvador 12:49:24 p.m. EST 10/10/1986
Bosnia, Yugoslavia 9:10 p.m. EST 10/10/1986
Diablo California 12:18 a.m. EST 10/11/2016
Diablo California 1:40 a.m. EST 10/11/1986
Western Turkey 4:00 a.m. EST 10/11/1986
Vancouver Island 5:27 p.m. EST 10/11/1986
--And October 10, 1986 is 11440 days (44 times 260) before February 4, 2018, when the first of two big earthquakes struck Taiwan:
