Answer: Because they know it is likely to be true.

And so it begins. The tsunami that is. It's already washed away Andrew McCabe and he is likely the first of many others to follow, including Mueller and Comey buddy Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein - who begged Speaker Paul Ryan to keep the memo private. Later this week, we weill see why he did so. Just have to wait for a couple of days and not let the memo step on the State of the Union Address.

First comes that memo, which will reveal the incredible abuses of the Obama administration in spying on political opposition, demonstrate that Russian collusion was an entirely fake narrative and indicate just how corrupt the politicized and weaponized FBI and DOJ have become at the upper levels.

More than the memo itself, it is the questions raised in the memo and the answers to those questions that will change the landscape of the swamp. And then will come the report of Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz (and the 350 employees he commands). It should be out within the next couple of months, hopefully sooner than later, and it may be devastating.

It was Horowitz who instantly produced the missing texts after the FBI lamely And it was the pending OIG report which likely led McCabe to announce that he would be retiring in March. Instead, he was given the boot and not even allowed to come back into his office.
