Consciousness wants it all. This wanting manifests in how we act here, on earth. Enough is never enough. It is the nature of consciousness.
Once you accomplish a goal, you set another goal, and it continues until you lose your energy to live, or until your body is unable to keep its energy feeding off of energy.
If you haven’t accomplished all you seek, you recycle.
If you are attached to the world you recycle. It’s a natural process, not a conscious process. You don’t think it. You attract–naturally–move towards your tendencies, inclinations and propensities. If the world has a hold on you through your habits (your likes of mind, emotions, body, energy) you move towards that which provides them, as natural as cause and effect, like cool air descends and hot air rises. The air does not think, it just does. It does it unconsciously.
You have to give up the world to not return to the world. That’s a conscious decision. But beneath that decision are your inclinations, propensities and tendencies–your habits–and they determine (not your conscious decision) whether you recycle or not.
You have to master yourself. You have to be the master of your mind, emotions, body, energy. You have to have experiences to gain control. Be careful what you ask for.
Whatever your mind likes; whatever your emotions like; whatever your body likes and your energy likes (or is like) is the prison that keeps you imprisoned on earth. You are your own warden.
When you’ve had enough of this life consciously (but still have unfulfilled desires) you recycle. It doesn’t matter that you make a conscious decision not to return here. Beyond here, your tendencies rule over your consciousness.
You will have no desire to return to source (pure energy unorganized) your home until you are ready until you let go of the desire for earthly pleasures. It’s not about your mind/consciousness desiring or not desiring those pleasures. It’s about your unconscious inclinations, unconscious propensities, unconscious tendencies (your habits).
By conquering yourself, by rejecting the world (even while living in the world: Be in the world, but not of the world) that is your ticket home. There is no other ticket.
Eventually, all return home. nem.
