Totally agree with you 100%... Freedom is a vital part of a souls growth. YOU (people in general) make the choices in life that have consequences. .. Freedom to work, or not is a choice that people have to live with.

I do believe that those who can not work (disease, advanced age, mental deficiency, etc) should have an income from the government. We should take care of those people who can not work or make those kinds of choices. It could be Federal, State or through charity giving... Welfare lifetimes are a no-no..

We should NOT be talking about an income for no work. We should be talking about work, jobs, creating wealth!

The posts we've had so far rightfully talk about the truth being long overdue. I believe in Truth. It is one of the necessary ingredients to achieving Liberty because you must have system that divides power among the many, otherwise as we have seen power corrupts. That is not only political power but economic power. On the one hand we allowed people to ignore our Constitution. On the other hand the Few were allowed to amass tremendous wealth. This was a recipe for disaster.

It would be a good step to take the money of the Few and distribute it among the Many. BUT that would be short sighted. Wealth is not currency or money. Wealth is the riches produced in factories and on farms. Throwing money around is not distributing abundance. Wealth is created by taking resources, molding them, building, creating products and food and services that are at the end worth MORE than what it cost to create them.

If you took a nation of workers and airdropped money in the streets, it would destroy that country. Who would work?

There is a lot of talk of Humanitarian Projects. I appeal to you to understand, if all the money in the USA was directed at charity, there would be no USA. It simply would make us a nation of slaves. No one would work for a living hence they all would have to do the bidding of whoever is sending them money. The power of money is the power to destroy America.

BUT the power of money is also the power to Make America Great. To do this, it must be inveted in profitable enterprise. There are those who rail against Profit as if it were evil. It is NOT. It is the power of GOOD. Because in a Free Market the true value of one thing to another is discovered and entrepreneurs act on it. They are forced by Adam Smith's Unseen Hand to adhere to a discipline in providing quantity, quality, and thus abundance. By contrast, those wh oare NonProfits, who somehow we placed on a nontaxable pedestal, these had no discipline of a bottom line forced on them, thus, major charities became corrupt. VERY corrupt.

The FIRST VALUE should be honest work for honest pay. What this does is to establish a world in which people are working for each other, to help each other. Throw away the people who want to find a way to slither by without working, or get more than fair pay. BUT establish a Middle Class again. Make America again a great Meritocracy. Let Americans compete on a level playing field. Surely we know enough about how to make good rules from Baseball, Football, and Basketball to do this! Pay for Ideas! Pay for Drive! Yes, what I am telling you is we need to go All In on Capitalism and Free Enterprise. We need Capital because wealth is really only generated for the masses through mass production. This takes capital. The more capital a society has, the higher its standard of living.

Or perhap the First Value should have been re-establishing morality. We've just gone through a period where people have been paid to do unproductive, bad things. Many have been encouraged to hate one another. It is true Capitalim is dependent upon Morality.

Am I swimming upstream here? Or do you understand? We are charged now with rebuilding America, but for America to survive as a nation, and not be auctioned off, it must earn its way. We are going to a gold-backed currency. Gold does not grow on trees. We must do for the World now as much as they do for us. We cannot simply run a wholly negative balance of payments and say here is a bond or a note I just printed. We cannot live higher than the rest of the world without being more productive than the rest of the world.

There has been a great discussion of Humanitarian Projects. Well, there is a place for charity. BUT the greatest emphasis needs to be on building factories, producing products, growing food, providing services.

Now to combine Capitalism and Morality, where they meet, is a Job. A Job is something that provides great satisfaction to an Individual, that they understand their place, what they are contributing, that the system works to provide them fair pay and opportunity. The biggest challenge will be, not writing checks to needy people, but creating jobs. For this we need entrepreneurs.We need CEOs and managers. And perhaps more than this, once the evil is expunged from our nation, we need a new sense of respect for those who can create great Enterprise. At the same time, we need a Teddy Roosevelt trust-buster to ensure that no corpoation becomes Too Big To fail or so big it uses its money to destroy its competition. Corporate America needs to have winner and losers, the worse need to fail, and by te rules, not by force. Money must be an honest way to keep score, to enforce the rules, to direct creative energy, to express need and the fulfillment of need. Money must NOT be thought of as wealth or abundance. With ten times the amount of money in the world, no one would be richer, the prices would simply be ten times higher. Money is a tool to help create abundance.

The future can be ours, but there will be great challenges ahead. Those challenges are more than just respecting and loving each other. There is Great Work to do. Think of Building, creating, growing, producing. This is the role of Money in Making America Great Again.
