Recently, there have been several attempts by President Trump to use his Official Chief Executive position to sway public opinion to support boycotts and influence private business affairs regarding employment practices.
Both of these intrusions will come into full examination regarding President Trump's miscalculations in badgering the N.F.L. Owners and Players, not only during the free exercise of First Amendment Rights during National Anthem Ceremony's, but by continued threats from his Office to demand the firing of Americans for actually using the First Amendment. Further complicating this egregious affront to the Constitution, The President has used his Office to support the economic boycotting of the N.F.L. in an effort to force his dictates upon the N.F.L. Franchise in ways that seemingly exceed his authority.
During the President's short term in office, the laws regarding a government official's duties have come under scrutiny due to the blatant excesses of President Trump, so that "THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS" now must be summoned to specifically identify the violations breached by The President.

The first application of law will address the President's call for a boycott of the N.F.L. a legal business enterprise.
Found at; USE OF PUBLIC OFFICE FOR PRIVATE GAIN - 5CFR.702 Section (B).
"(B) Appearance of government sanction (boycott)(mine) except as otherwise provided in this part, an employee shall not use or permit the use of his government position or title or any authority associated with his public office in a manner that his agency or the government sanctions or endorses his personal activities or those of another"

To reference the current spat with the N.F.L. the following case will draw the exact parallels in conflicts of interest found with the President's overreach with the retail chain, Nordstrum.

KEY ITEMS (EDITED)
"Donald Trump is invoking the power of government"
"But I would say this is about using government resources and government symbols like saying something standing in front of the Seal of the Presidency - that would be indicating his words have a different social meaning"
"This is not trivial, Trump is using government power for his personal purposes"
"According to the Code of Federal Regulations, government officials cannot use their public office for the endorsement or sanction of any product or service, the law further states that officials cannot use their position to give the appearance that the government "sanctions or endorse" the activities of a private party. In the case of "sanctions" can mean to penalize much like the U.S. has placed sanctions on Iran"
"And there could be a legal argument that Donald Trump has crossed the line..the question here is whether Congress is willing to take him to task for this"
"It's an abuse of power and Nordstrum (NFL)(mine) is being harmed by it"
"He(Trump)(mine) is violating common law standard that he owes to the American people the obligation to use government power for government purposes"

The above serves to illustrate the identified power of office being purposely commingled on various media platforms by the President which by their blurred obfuscations only increase the abuses by which this President flagrantly insults the law.
Furthermore, if we ponder the reasoning behind these Federal Laws to check official duties within the parameters of government business only, by what authority, by what law, by what code does this President willfully lobby to destroy a legal business operating in our free enterprise system?
I can not find any authority by which this President can legally act to do so and have previously pondered the potential dark side of this equation working within The White House as motive;

18 U.S CODE #227;
Prohibits the President from wrongfully influencing a private entity's employment.
Persons convicted under this statute face up to 15 years in prison and disqualification from public office.

In this case the President appeared in a partisan political setting in Alabama under the Seal of the President of the United States of America for the political rally for Luther Strange and lashed out to "get that son of a bitch off the field" clearly violating 18 U.S.CODE #227.
By a word by word reading of the President's entire speech, he defined the mission that respect for the flag was shared by a partisan political group assembled and falls into the strict qualifying language that limits the applicability of the code. In order for it to apply, President Trump must make his statements "with the intent to influence solely on the basis of partisan political affiliation"(the crowd)(mine)

"Luther and I and everyone in this arena tonight are unified by these same great American values, we're proud of our country, we respect our flag - wouldn't you love to see one of these N.FL. Owners, when somebody disrespects the flag to say ... get that son of a bitch off the field right now - out - he's fired - he's fired!

CONCLUSION;
THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Donald J.Trump, has exceeded his authority and has engaged in a pattern of official duties which are outside the scope of his power in violation of Federal laws and codes referenced above.
Furthermore, the President's unauthorized sanctions to solicit a boycott placed upon the N.F.L. Franchise , unjustly and illegally uses the full force and office of the Presidency, which only represents a personal and willful act of malicious intent, by Donald J.Trump, which demands all legal remedies to rescind and rebuke accordingly.
Additionally, those maligned attacks by President Trump upon the N.F.L. players exercising their rights, represents one of the most egregious attacks upon the Constitution, the highest law in the land, by a wayward government official, not in accordance with faithfully upholding his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, which demands actionable legal remedies against Donald J.Trump to swiftly rebuke.
"As John F. Kennedy aptly noted almost 60 years ago, a President should be a morale leader in the crusade for human rights and "He must exert great morale and educational force to support the right of every American to stand up for his rights, even if, on occasion, one must sit down for them" - unknown source-
