The History Of Political Philosophy (by Leo Strauss) uses a word, which piqued my interest, in reference to Islamic Philosopher of 900 AD, Alfarabi, 'SIMILITUDES'.

I often use a like word, 'SIMILARS' from the concept word 'SIM', to describe the fake people who populate this place today, passing as Earth.

Incredibly, Alfarabi contends that 'Similtudes' are necessary to live alongside humans and convince them, they hold the same values, even though they are Tyrannical at heart.

Here is the original quote:

'Having made use of the advantages of war and compulsion to establish his divine law and to suppress the wicked and the incorrigible, the ruler of the virtuous regime must return to promote friendship among the citizens and to the peaceful work of persuasion and free consent. To persuade the majority of citizens he has to produce similitudes of divine and natural beings and of virtue and happiness, that are adequate in respect to the proximity to the original forms of these things,
but are also adequate with respect to those who are to be persuaded by them. The similitudes should bear some relation to the nature, past experience and habits of its citizens.'

Some may argue that the word Similitudes has a more symbolic meaning (Search for Similitudes in the Google Book below).

I believe the literal Simitudes concept (natural beings) is a Revelation, the actual blueprint for this reality.

I would classify all Politicians as Similitudes, espousing one belief (peace,cooperation,benevolence,sanctity of life), but acting out another (war,dominance,theft,murder) without the citizens catching on to their true nature.
