This film is about the historical conflict that took place in the Russian revolution in Ukraine, and the starvation of millions of Ukrainians. It is a love story, a story of an artist going to Kiev to make a living and the Soviet cruelty against the people. It was beautifully filmed, well acted, directed and written. I highly recommend this film because of its historical accuracy and importance. It reveals the reality of total government taking over a nation under communism. And, we can compare it to our own time - the new communism today is globalism. The average citizen is not aware of the freedoms they have already lost and are blind to the stranglehold "socialist globalism" already has on the nations. When new regimes take over the value of a life means nothing. In fact those that occupy the land are merely in the way of their new plans for the conquered area.

During that purge of Ukraine between 7 and 10 millions innocent people died, and yet few people even know about it today. What was their crime? They owned farms and were simply "in the way". Where have we heard that statement recently? Answer: In the American colleges with minority activist complaining that white people are "in the way". You are an enemy already and don't even know it. You have not declared war on anyone but you are involved in a war nonetheless. Watch this film and see what happens to people that merely wanted to be left alone. What is the answer? You cannot fight against an all powerful enemy. You must escape, if you can, or perish.
