‘Talking is not the answer’ for North Korea, Trump tweets

Washington has been paying Pyongyang “extortion money” for over two decades, US President Donald Trump said in a tweet on Wednesday.
According to Trump, the US has been in talks with North Korea all that time.
The U.S. has been talking to North Korea, and paying them extortion money, for 25 years. Talking is not the answer!

However, the US leader's latest tweet appears to reject diplomacy as a possible solution to the current crisis on the Korean Peninsula.

Trump's tweet comes following an official statement released by the White House, in which the president said that “all options are on the table” in regard to the current tensions in East Asia.
On Tuesday, Pyongyang launched a ballistic missile which passed over Japan. Calling that move “threatening and destabilizing,” the US leader said North Korea “has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior.”
Washington has sided with Tokyo and Seoul, with the three nations claiming they are facing a "grave and growing direct threat" from Pyongyang.

Meanwhile, other UN members – including Russia, China and Germany – have been pushing for a diplomatic solution. Moscow and Beijing insist that all sides should be listened to in order to resolve the Korean crisis, in which regard they are now supported by Berlin.

A "double freeze" initiative has been put forward, which seeks to ease military tensions on both sides. Under the proposal the US and South Korea would halt their joint military exercises in the region, in exchange for the North ceasing its missile launches. The US State Department has emphatically rejected the "double freeze" proposal.

After Pyongyang launched a missile that flew over Japan, the world rose to its feet. Everyone is wondering if a new war is threatening. Sputnik says this will not happen.
The essential change brought by the latest launch of a ballistic missile is that North Korea has proven to have the capacity of this kind. In these new circumstances, the future negotiating process will take place under the "concession arrangement" system. Otherwise, the war is at hand, Sputnik's interlocutors say.
Sputnik recalled that North Korea fired one rocket that flew over Japan on Tuesday, the first time since the launch of a North Korean missile launch program that the missile had crossed the territory of another country.
The Japanese government has estimated that it is a unprecedented case, which is a serious and severe threat to the nation and announced that it will react sharply. It will be closely associated with the US, South Korea and other interested countries in order to give an appropriate response in a timely manner.

New modifications to the half-a-century old iconic US nuclear bomb might jeopardize the global strategic balance, as the weapon’s characteristics might make it too tempting to not actually bring it to bear, politicians and military experts are warning.
The US has announced the successful flight test of its B61-12 gravity nuclear bombs in Nevada. The bomb did not have a warhead, as the goal was to test its flight capabilities as well as the plane’s “capability to deliver the weapon,” according to the US National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Above Bumb has adjustable yield (you just reprogram it's computer) from 0.3 to 50 kilotons. So i can be used everywhere and nobody will have to complain. Including Blonds.
Problem is that at 30 kilotons radioactive material must finish somewhere (i.e. as a dirty bumb).

Japan’s deputy prime minister, Taro Aso, is in hot water after suggesting Adolf Hitler might have had “the right motives.” He was criticized both at home and abroad, with the US-based Simon Wiesenthal Center saying the remarks were “downright dangerous.”
“I don’t question your motives (to be a politician). But the results are important. Hitler, who killed millions of people, was no good, even if his motives were right,” Aso told a meeting of his faction of the governing Liberal Democratic Party on Tuesday.

US Test-Intercepts Medium-Range Ballistic Missile Off Hawaii Coast

A day after the latest North Korean missile launch, the US military test-intercepted a ballistic missile off the Hawaii coast.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The US Missile Defense Agency said it had conducted jointly with the US Navy soldiers missile defense flight test, intercepting a medium-range ballistic missile target off the coast of Hawaii.
"The Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Navy sailors aboard the USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) successfully conducted a complex missile defense flight test, resulting in the intercept of a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) target using Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) guided missiles during a test off the coast of Hawaii today," the statement read.
