Up to one-half of all the arrivals in the American colonies were Whites slaves and they were America's first slaves. These Whites were slaves for life, long before Blacks ever were. This slavery was even hereditary. White children born to White slaves were enslaved too.

In George Sandys laws for Virginia, Whites were enslaved "forever." The service of Whites bound to Berkeley's Hundred was deemed "perpetual."

They conveniently call them 'indentured' yet Oliver Cromwell, King James II and Charles the 1st, committed a virtual genocide against the Irish and Celtic peoples. He shipped them off to the Americas, Carib and to Australia. The King James I Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves. .... Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade...

They were bought, sold, mated ( to make Mulatto - mixed race sex slaves) tortured, raped, and all the other atrocities until the mid 1800's.. So for over 200 years they were slaves. They were cheaper then black slaves. ..Even if an Irish woman somehow obtained her freedom, her kids would remain slaves of her master. Thus, Irish moms and dads, even with this new found emancipation, would seldom abandon their kids and would remain in servitude...

Slave owners would hang their white human property by their hands and set their hands or feet on fire as one form of punishment. They were burned alive and had their heads placed on pikes in the marketplace as a warning to other captives to obey and not try to escape...

Today much of what we see on "Turner Television" and the "Family Channel," are TV films depicting Blacks in chains, Blacks being whipped, Blacks oppressed. Nowhere can we find a cinematic chronicle of the Whites who were beaten and killed in White slavery. Four-fifths of the White slaves sent to Britain's sugar colonies in the West Indies did not survive their first year.
