(The Best Years in Life) On January 11, 2009 my article about Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze's battle with panceatic cancer titled "Patrick Swayze's Misguided Faith in Mainstream Medicine" was pulished. It turned out to be the first of three articles I wrote about Swayze which put me firmly on the radar of the dupes and agents of mainstream medicine.
Because I dared to suggest that Swayze might be better served with natural and alternative cancer treatments rather than heed his mainstream doctors' advice to "starve out the cancer", the howls of protest and condemnations were loud and immediate. The very day after my article was published, one site honored me by selecting me as "'Tard of the Week". Two days after that, notorious mainstream apologist and legend in his own mind David Gorski published an article on his Scienceblogs website titled "Abusing celebrities with cancer in order to promote quackery".
On September 15, 2009, shortly after Swayze's death, my article "Patrick Swayze Dead at Fifty-Seven after Placing False Hopes in Chemotherapy" was published. Swayzed died, by the way, not from his cancer but instead from the wasting disease cachexia. Instead of starving his cancer, Swayze starved himself to death.
My third article about Swayze, "A Tale of Two Pancreatic Cancer Patients - Patrick Swayze and an 80 Year Old Survivor", appeared on May 18, 2010. In the article, I contrasted how Swayze, at age 55, followed mainstream advice and treatment and went from a healthy looking 55 year old to looking like a wasted 90-plus year old in little more than a year to an 80 year old pancreatic cancer patient who opted for oleander and other natural measures and, unlike Swayze, put lost weight back on and returned to playing his beloved golf.
As a result of those articles and others, I was selected on May 15, 2013 to be included in "The Encyclopedia of American Loons" (See: http://americanloons.blogspot.com/2013/11/793-tony-isaacs.html). There have been numerous other "compliments" paid to me over the years by mainsteam medicine, but that is surely my highest honor!
Following are links to the three articles, which I later published on my own websitem plus a reply I gave to an oncologist who criticized me at the CureZone forums site:
Patrick Swayze's Misguided Faith in Mainstream Medicine
(The Best Years in Life) Millions of people tuned in to watch the Barbara Walters interview with Patrick Swayze which centered on his fight against pancreatic cancer. It was wonderful to see Swayze so fired up and hopeful and to his credit, he has refused to accept his cancer as a death sentence and is fighting it with mind, body and soul. To the dismay of those of us in natural health, Swayze has also placed his faith and life in the hands of mainstream medicine.

The Death of Patrick Swayze
(The Best Years in Life) Patrick Swayze, the star of movies such as "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost", died Monday at age 57 after a 20 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Although Mr. Swayze outlasted his original prognosis of only having a few months left to live, he refused to seek any natural or alternative treatments to help boost his immune system and nourish his body in addition to fighting his cancer - instead following the advice of his doctors to "starve out" the cancer.

Schooling a Mainstream Oncologist
(The Best Years in Life) After I wrote my second article about Patrick Swayze's tragic misplaced faith in mainstream medicine, a mainstream oncologist followed me to CureZone and chastised me with the following message:
I have been working as an oncologist/pathologist for over 20 years now and I am deeply shocked at the amount of misinformation that is spread on this website. I have been reading this site for quite some time now and have not been able to find any reliable information on cancer anywhere here, either on the nature of cancer or on the best way to treat it.
The way you abuse Patrick Swayze's death to rant against standard medicine and the implication that he would have been far better off if not cured with alternative medicine beggars any description.
