Russian Ministry of Agriculture has received official notification about the introduction of Turkish import duties on Russian agricultural products, according to the Russian newspaper "Izvestia".

From March 15 this year, the customs duties on imports of Russian wheat and corn in Turkey is 130 percent, rice 45 percent, 36 percent sunflower oil, sunflower meal and beans 13.5 percent to 9.7 percent, the newspaper reported, citing a statement by the Ministry of agriculture.

Ministry of Economy of Turkey, as reported by "Sputnik", denied information about the ban on imports, but a spokesman for the Russian trade representative office in Ankara announced that the Turkish Ministry of Economy exclude Russia from the list of countries with a zero rate of customs duty.

According to "Izvestia", Russian officials and business people are already looking for new markets in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
