Dutch politician Geert Wilders launched his campaign to become the next Prime Minister of Holland on Saturday, reaffirming his credibility with his base, the native Dutch, in a manner that is reminiscent of the populist positions that led President Trump to victory.

As a candidate President Trump vowed a response to the orchestrated invasions across our southern border and the criminal refusal by the former DHS Secretary to obey the laws of the land. He also promised to end the Islamic invasion including much tighter controls over or the elimination of aspects of the abused refugee programs.

Wilders had his own take on the same themes, which have, in the face of rising public unrest over the same issues of cultural degradation, rising crime, social costs and the threat of terrorism, led to the exploding popularity of his Party for Freedom. Wilders is the current frontrunner, touting a message that echoes the “make America great again” of President Trump, his being, “make the Netherlands ours again.”

Their election season is much shorter than what we are accustomed to in the United States, with his announcement coming today and the balloting being conducted on March 15th, less than a month away.

Wilders told the crowd, “What you see happening now is what we saw happening after Brexit,” Mr. Wilders said. “Despite all the hate and fear-mongering of the elite, both in Britain and in Brussels, the people took their fate in their own hands.”

Wilders promises to close all mosques, shut down the asylum system and ban headscarves at public functions. He has also pledged more generous welfare payments and a Nexit departure from the European Union.

Analysts consider it unlikely that Wilders will win the Prime Minister position despite having the lead as he would fail to receive the necessary number of votes and be relegated to the position of the opposition while the politically correct from various parties formulate a coalition government.

In announcing his candidacy, Wilders said, “Not all are scum, but there is a lot of Moroccan scum in Holland who makes the streets unsafe, mostly young people.” as the video shows. “If you want to regain your country, if you want to make the Netherlands for the people of the Netherlands, your own home, again, then you can only vote for one party.” He urges voters to “Please, make the Netherlands our again.”

His opponents had better hope there are no terrorist attacks in the days between now and the election. People may have gone to sleep to a degree now, the sight of blood and sound of explosions and gunfire could definitely wake them up and work in Wilders’ favor.
