The actress-singer, Fran Jeffries, who sang in 'The Pink Panther' and in 'A Shot in the Dark' has passed at age 79. Jeffries had been married to two famous men, actor-director Richard Quine (who had also been married to actress Susan Peters) and Dick Haymes.

Fran created something of an uproar or sensation with her two (1971 & 1982) Playboy Magazine appearances.

Fran Jeffries is listed as a victim of cancer, multiple myeloma. Cancer is such a devastating and brutal quiet killer.
