What comes to mind, as the actor speaks his lines, is causation.

The compartmentalization of everyone in society, has had the result, that people are limited in experience, by working all day long in a cubicle, or on a single position in an assembly line, or whatever. Spending years doing the same thing over and over.

When you spend years doing the same job, the same task, how can you get experience in anything else? How can you see, know, what is involved in other areas of life? Doing what you are interested in doing, during off hours, is a bullshit tactic, of people living in fear. It doesn't work. Just try it an see for yourself.

How can you know how things work, if you have never had to fix something? If you have never had to take apart a piece of equipment, or animal carcass? If you have never done research into a field that you haven't interacted with before?

Life is not about getting the best of others. Its not about getting more out of an exchange with others, than they do. Its not about avoiding laborious activity. Its about experience.

What makes something great? Success? Money? Power over others? Domination of others through greater violence? That is what fools believe.

That is what people believe, who think man-made and natural products are finite. While man-made and natural resources can appear to be finite, especially when hordes are trampling over each other to get in on a thanksgiving day sale, a human that knows how to acquire natural resources, or how to make a man-made product, never fears the lack of it. Because s/he can find it or create it. But that requires experience/knowledge. That requires the individual will to do so.

The best way to acquire more and more experience, is to live a long healthy life. You can do that the more you are able to continue. To continue, implies making good decisions. Making good decisions requires you have previous experience. To have previous experience requires you learn from mistakes. It requires you research what others have already achieved in those areas of the unknown, to you, and the desire to go beyond what others have achieved.

You can long for the "glory" days/daze, or you can make today what you want it to be.

A great country comes from people. People willing to take care of themselves.

What an example that would be for others.
