But, with a twist.

That 1800's time frame is approximately when this country was last great. Let's review what was going on.

We were approximately a generation away from the revolutionary war, which had freed us from the tyranny of an unelected king.

It was a time when we agreed on a system of rules we would peacefully abide by. We called the 'Constitution', but in reality it represented far more. It actually was the collective thoughts of freed slaves who vowed by their lives and force of arms they would never be enslaved again.

The main thing that most lost over the past 200 years was the ability to freely execute our God-given rights of individualism, tempered through the recognition that the border of our rights ended where the individual rights of our neighbor began.

As time went on, we began to look for other people who would help in our selfish quest to alter such borders in our favor.

We found them in the persons of people greedy for money, bribes and power, because such selfish people abound in any society.

We first called them landlords, land-barons. Eventually we called them 'government', and today we call the government 'daddy'...and of course daddy will provide for us.

In the time of the 19th century people knew the universal truth that if one does not provide for themselves, they will perish.

That, dear libs and snowflakes, is the hard reality. When, not if the change to your make believe existence comes, you will be faced with that reality.

I mentioned a 'twist' in the beginning of this screed. Well here it is...

The past hundred years or so has seen the development of many technical marvels which were not even dreams in 1800.

If you wish to survive, you must take advantage of them and many more to carve your way out of your mistaken advisers, teachers and their play-doh and coloring book world, grasp your panties by their belts and actually contribute something to provide for your own.

I am damned tired of giving your daddy the money to support your addictions.
