Prof. Tolkien, in his life, denied the use of his work as allegory. Yet, more than the Bible has his stories sold. The great hearts of the smallest among us champions for the Earth, for the Shire. In a timeless story, the participant reader might be anywhere along the trail. For me, the ring is in the fire, and the other-dimensional evil is crashing, its dark towers falling to ruin. Exhausted near to death, on behalf of all the gathered fellowship of middle Earth, wizard, elf, dwarf, and men -the Light Workers - It is done! Now all run around crazy, the streams of directed power free again to align with Life, bring the new dawn and the spring of a new era. The eagles are coming! The black gates are fallen. Now the sovereign returns to each heart. The long dead have received their release.

Now to clean up the mess... Lots of damage and rot. Sharky and Wormtongue had invaded the Shire with metal and soot, burning breaking, despoiling. The hobbits have learned a thing or two in our adventures. Mr. Bombadil has no oval office. Older than wizard and elf, cousin to the ent, you will find him renewing and expanding the quiet places, that his beloved may come, the goddess return.

With Annie Lennox, I sing out to call your attention to this new horizon. Be no more distracted by men behind curtains, or dark whispers in the night. The black dragon doesn't live here anymore. (Remember, Gandalf taught us to not turn aside from a dark thing still twitching)

The ancient and noble dragons, the White and the Blue, the Red, are meeting now at the Green, conspiring to unleash the once hoarded Gold to the world of men and hobbits. I will see you there, for a pint, or a flagon.
