SAFETY BULLETIN - Attacks on Elderly at Home Continue - Thugs Picking Weak Targets - Help Your Neighbors

Random attacks on elderly people in their homes is not confined to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Even in Oklahoma there are stabbings reported happening downtown and in homes. One of the latest victims is reported to be 91-year-old Florence Fife. Officials suspect her door was simply kicked in and she was murdered, robbed, etc.. The thugs nowadays appear to be making sure not to pass up weaker targets like elderly folks who live alone. It might be a good idea to help those neighbors around you by letting the elderly know they can call on you if something happens that they should need help. Keep an eye out for those hanging around and continuing to drive by who don't seem to belong in your hood.

It may be that if you, yourselves don't do the watching and helping, those who are less capable could be picked out, picked on and attacked. Those elderly folks need help, especially.
