This is an exemplary letter and could show others how to email in on the last day, tomorrow, 10/24, before 5 PM Pacific; VERY IMPORTANT - Aspartame must be labeled a carcinogen,

This is from Stephen Fox, Mission Possible New Mexico and he is
right, it is an excellent letter. We've tried bills to ban
aspartame, petitioned the FDA to ban and spread the word throughout
the world. Independent researchers have done studies on aspartame
and shown it to not only be a carcinogen but a horrible deadly poison
causing disability and death. Courageous and brilliant physicians

and even victims have written books to notify the public. This is
one time I think every single person who knows about aspartame should
write an email to P65Public.Comments@oehha.ca and say label this
deadly poison to be the carcinogen it is,

I've taken the case histories for 26 years and its hard to keep from
crying too when a mother calls and says her ten year old child had a
Diet Coke before going to bed and didn't wake up the next
morning. Aspartame causes sudden cardiac death. Or listen to a
mother who used aspartame through three pregnancies because the FDA
made a deal with G.D. Searle never to let the public see the
teratology studies because aspartame caused horrible birth
defects. Now she and her husband have to work two jobs each to set
up a trust fund for three autistic children. The lives of a whole
family ruined. Listen to a frustrated doctor tell you he doesn't
understand why he used every anti seizure drug in the PDR but nothing
worked to stop seizures because he doesn't know aspartame interacts
with all anti seizure medication and some companies put aspartame in
them. Aspartame is a seizure triggering drug, They all know. Hear
the anger and cries of mothers who lost their babies to SIDS deaths
because the FDA had the audacity to allow aspartame in pediatric
products destroying the brains of our children. Remember its a
psycho drug and experts says the mental hospitals are full of
patients who are only aspartame victims. Aspartame interacts with
all anti-depressants. Dr. H. J. Roberts told me so many times when
you hear of children killing children you have to consider
aspartame. I shudder to think of the crime its caused. It triggers
bi-polar and suicidal tendencies. MS and lupus is rampant because of
it. It precipitates diabetes and has caused an epidemic, Some
people look forward to marriage and a family never having children
because its also an endocrine disrupting drug causing infertility,
. It would really take an encyclopedia to go through all the horrors
of aspartame, Remember that Dr. Alemany who did the Trocho study
said aspartame would kill 200 million people. His study showed that
aspartame damages DNA which means it can destroy humanity.

Every victim on these lists should write what it did to them. Anyone
concerned with stopping human suffering should send an email. We
have to make this happen. Its now used in the very drugs used to
treat the problems it triggered or precipitated. It breaks down to a
brain tumor agent and St. Jude is full of children with brain tumors
no doubt because of it.

So I ask everyone who reads this to please stop and send an
email. Be sure to read the letter below my signature. It will give
you some ideas.

To whom it may concern,

I, Sarah Stephens, a resident of Washington state, activist, and
journalist, and I strongly encourage this committee to support labeling
aspartame as a carcinogen in California. As a free and open society,
labeling should be considered when using potentially harmful substances in
a product. Considering that the FDA has listed 92 symptoms of ingesting
aspartame and the health effects can also result in seizures and death, I
think that labeling these products would be the most logical answer. New
Mexico State Senator Ortiz y Pino and author and activist both support
labeling as well as many others. With all of the evidence and information
that this substance can cause severe health problems, including death, I
feel that California should lead the way for the country to achieve total
industry transparency.

Taking this step could begin a national trend, as more and more consumers
plan to resist corporate rule by banning dangerous products. I hope that I
see this simple act of common sense come to materialize in my lifetime and
spread quickly between states.

Labeling this toxic substance will not only inform consumers of the
potential dangers of ingestion, it will empower them to put pressure on
companies to create products which promote good health, not more problems.
