War is War. Or is it? The eternal dilemma!

Where were these humanitarians during WW2? Was it justified then? Why?

“GENEVA, Oct 21 (Reuters) – The top United Nations human rights official said on Friday that the siege and bombing of eastern Aleppo in Syria constituted “crimes of historic proportions” that have caused heavy civilian casualties amounting to war crimes.”

We bombed German civilians Day and night…..

We fire bombed Dresden, a cultural city with only women, children, and elderly refugees….

“One tactic used by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Force was the creation offirestorms. This was achieved by dropping incendiary bombs, filled with highly combustible chemicals such as magnesium, phosphorus or petroleum jelly (napalm), in clusters over a specific target. After the area caught fire, the air above the bombed area, become extremely hot and rose rapidly. Cold air then rushed in at ground level from the outside and people were sucked into the fire.

In 1945, Arthur Harris decided to create a firestorm in the medieval city of Dresden. He considered it a good target as it had not been attacked during the war and was virtually undefended by anti-aircraft guns. The population of the city was now far greater than the normal 650,000 due to the large numbers of refugees fleeing from the advancing Red Army.”

We took a major portion of the Japanese population at Hiroshima and Nagasaki….

“Attempting to bring an earlier end to World War II, U.S. President Harry Truman made the fateful decision to drop a massive atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. On August 6, 1945, this atomic bomb, known as “Little Boy,” flattened the city, killing at least 70,000 people that day and tens of thousands more from radiation poisoning.

While Japan was still trying to comprehend this devastation, the United States dropped another atomic bomb.This bomb, nicknamed “Fat Man,” was dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki, killing an estimated 40,000 people immediately and another 20,000 to 40,000 in the months following the explosion.”

Where were they then?

Now the Russians are the bad guys.

I find this significant because of this is what we’ll be looking forward to in the near future.
