Indeed, the cheapest copy offered online of 'The Farmer's Daughter Remembered: The Biography of Actress Inger Stevens', by William Patterson is around $105.oo! Other copies are up to $500.oo or more, etc.. Who is driving the price of this book up and why, or, is it rare because there are sources who may be keeping copies of it off the market?

In the Richard Widmark film, 'Madigan', Inger's role was not a large one, but she delivered the level of intensity similar to Doris Day's tremendous emotional performance in 'Midnight Lace'.
