The Giants' bullpen, which had been the club's Achilles heel for the second half of the 2016 season, proceeded to give up the tying and go-ahead runs in the 9th inning. The Cubs end up winning game 4 by the score of 6-5, thereby, advancing to the National League Championship series to face the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Why is this significant, you ask? For one, the Cubs haven't appeared in the World Series since the war year of 1945. They've only won the World Series twice (in 1907 and 1908) when they beat the Detroit Tigers in both instances. Moreover, think of all the media attention that would be focused on the very city that has direct ties to the current president during his last few weeks in office.
