“LIFE SUCKS! WHERE ARE MY DRUGS?”

Why there is life, is a mystery (to some). How to enjoy all that is life (is a mystery to nearly everyone).

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO ENJOY LIFE when your needs are not met and your desires are not fulfilled?

George worked all Summer and Fall gathering wood, chopping and storing it for Winter. On the first cold morning of Winter his wood pile caught fire. He now had no wood to see him through the Winter.

Thomas worked two years clearing a piece of property, digging up sage brush, removing top soil, sifting it, building fences with logs that he hauled and then constructed containers for the sifted-soil for his garden. He dug a root cellar and covered it with logs and boards that he cut from the logs, shingled it and covered it with dirt. Then he planted his garden, only to find that he had built it on someone else’s property.

Sam rented a building, did reconstruction and redecorated, bought $20,000 in inventory, was burglarized twice, vandalized and totally trashed, and when he finally ran out of money he closed the door and declared bankruptcy and moved into his parents basement.

We come with needs and desires.

We want to meet and fulfill them.

When life meets our needs and fulfills our desires we enjoy life.

When life doesn’t meet our needs and doesn’t fulfill our desires, we don’t enjoy life.

The only way to enjoy life when your needs are not met and your desires are not fulfilled, is to also ENJOY life BECAUSE your needs are not met and your desires are not fulfilled.

Everyday we wake up and strive to meet our needs and fulfill our desires, and our striving makes life worthwhile. Striving to meet our needs and fulfill our desires is the spice of life that makes life worth living.

And...if you meet your needs and fulfill your desires at the expense of others, you love yourself too much and others to little and you are a plague and a pestilence on earth.

When you are able to also enjoy life BECAUSE your needs are not met and your desires are not fulfilled (even unto death) you have conquered yourself, which is the greatest victory you can experience in life.

WHAT YOU MUST DO TO ENJOY ALL THAT IS LIFE:

Dump, throw-away, eliminate, annihilate, void and expunge every bit of your programming, indoctrination and brainwashing that says, “Life must meet my needs, wants and desires or I’m going to kill something,” AND INSTEAD reprogram yourself with, “Life is Life and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let people, place, things, events, situations and circumstances affect my joy, peace and happiness.”

The self-evident truth IS that life is an adventure (and adventure means YOU dare to walk into unknown consequences, to risk everything and accept the “life-and-death” challenge that IS LIFE) or you can wimp-out and bitch, moan, groan and bellyache and sob like an immature crybaby and declare, “LIFE SUCKS! WHERE ARE MY DRUGS?”

LIFE IS LIFE - EVERYTHING ELSE IS ATTITUDE...so choose one that pisses-off the wimps. nem
