Democrats have long styled themselves as champions of American minorities. However, the DNC emails recently released by WikiLeaks paint a much more dark picture of the Democratic National Committee.

One email, addressed to DNC Finance Chief of Staff Scott Comer, pokes fun at the name of an African American Executive Assistant for apparel company Haddad Brands named LaQueenia Gibson.

"LaQueenia is a NAME!" the email reads. "I'm sorry, boo. I hope you got a raise with this title."

Another email, this one from DNC Chief Financial officer Brad Marshall, sought to make an issue of Bernie Sanders religion.

It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.

DNC Chief Executive officer Amy Dacey responded to Marshall's email, "AMEN".

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Following the revelations, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has announced that she will resign her position following the Democratic National Convention which kicks off on Monday in Philadelphia.

The Clinton campaign is defending itself on Monday from charges that it colluded with the DNC to defeat Bernie Sanders, claiming that Russia is involved in the WikiLeaks email dump and is actively trying to help the Trump Campaign.
