Just a few link hops from Infoeditor's lastest FREE MOVIE posting brought me to a site I hadn't seen before with a GIANT collection of movies and TV shows of the last century. You can watch them online or you can download them for offline viewing.

The amount of stuff is really staggering, a full museum of early media. There are two domains actually, one for movies and one for TV.

The sites were created by a guy called "Jimbo Berkey" who says this:

I have a passion to collect and share movies, radio shows, television show sand recorded music from 1895 to the 1970's that literally chronicle the history of us - the cars we drove, the homes we lived in, the stores we shopped in, the clothes we wore, the hair styles we thought were great.

Thanks to complicated copyright laws that were not made easier until 1964 and simpler yet in 1989, some of the greatest media ever created is available to us all to have, keep and share. It just takes some time, luck, a bit of money and good searching skills to find it all.

On his Movie Page Jimbo describes the pains he takes to assure that everything on his sites is truly in the public domain so that visitors need not feel nervous about downloading for their own personal use.

Jimbo also has a section of free downloadable old Radio Shows from the era before TV.
