I was just reading a short article on why the law of attraction does not work for everyone. First, it is my belief that the law of attraction does not really exist. What?? Why Griff that's heiracy!! How dare you say that?

Oddly, I say that because of experience. I say that because what is written in the Bible, though I'll be the first to tell you the Bible has been tampered with. But basically, the personage we refer to as God in the Christian World is quoted in the Bible as "ask and it will be given you." Note, that verse does not say you cannot ask for money or things of any kind. If you desire something enough to stay with the program of asking, it will be given you. Could be a pile of money or pile of horse hockey and anything else your heart desires.

That covers one reason why what we ask for in our thoughts and prayers doesn't work. Except that it does. If we have beliefs that are stronger than our desires, then the beliefs win out. Simple. Believe it. Ask for it. And wait with expectation of receiving it. The end result is it manifests. There are no stipulations. No maybe, just wait and assume it is manifesting regardless of how long it takes. Let's examine a example that would work but why it may take longer than expected.

For whatever reason, let's imagine that you wanted a special car. It has a particular color, engine and interior. What you don't know about such a car is, there is only one like that on the planet. One! The forces that may go and remain in action to bring that car to you have to find out when the present owner wants to shed himself of it. Notice, I didn't stipulate how he would get rid of it. That is not for you in this scenario to decide. You only have a vision of that car in your possession. Stipulating what price and when is not something you can insist on. You only ask for the car to be placed in your life.

Thus, you can imagine all sorts of scenarios of the person wanting to sell or give the car away. You could imagine what you need to do to bring it to you. That is not your job. Your job is to see yourself receiving that car only. ONLY!!

Those that have beliefs that I could never have such a nice car defeat themselves before they get started. Remember: Ask and it will be given you. It does not say, ask and if you are approved or if you do this or that you will get it. There are places in the Bible that refer to "showing yourself approved." The Bible has been manipulated by those that have ideas of disempowering those that believe they can have what they desire.

Finally, the way we get what we desire is to understand there is no restriction on what you want. Immoral things can be had as well. But, then you have to handle the bad situations that come with wanting something like that. For example, someone's wife. Not a good idea to want that for myriad reasons. For example, a wife that will leave her husband is much more likely to leave you. On the other hand to just desire the perfect wife you may get a gal that has been previously married. I did and we have been going strong through thick and thin for 35 years. So, the point is, imagine your desire but put no stipulations on how or when. And never give up.

And though I just said above that was the final comment here is the last lesson and forgive me from continuing. The Bible also instructs us to use God's name which is I Am That, I Am. In fact the comma doesn't show up in the Bible and that has confused people for centuries, but if one speaks it with the comma it makes more sense and the phrase becomes powerful as a manifesting power. Thus, if you ask for your special car as hypothesized above, a perfect way to ask for it is like this: I am grateful for my perfect car and I am receiving it now." Maintain this thought until said desire manifests. It may be a long time. Never give up because when you do, your power is turned off and manifestation will not occur. And that is why many do not "attract" what they seek. The truth has I have seen to understand it, is we don't attract anything, we create it in our lives. If it comes from someone else that is fine. Consider it attraction. If you intend happiness for yourself, it is more on the side of creating happiness than attracting it. Reason: happiness is created within, not without. A pile of money can make you happy or sick. Depends, right?

That's it, but thought I would put my two cents in on this subject since it appears to be on the minds of many. If you disagree, great. I wish you great success in getting whatever you desire, but this is the only way that works for me personally and I have been down many roads looking for the best way. Never give up. It's being created by you.
