It should be clear to one and all that the entire world is at war with radical Islam. What is less clear is that radical Islam is NOT an abberation of a peaceful religion. It is in fact fundamental, core Islam, which is a religion of subjugation that embraces violence to achieve its goal of world domination. No doubt there are many peace-loving Muslims, perhaps a large majority of Muslims. But Islam itself is not a religion of peace and wishing it were so will not make it so. I maintain that it is impossible to thoroughly read the Quran and come away with an opinion that Islam is a religion of peace.

Now, Islam could be a religion of peace, but if Islam wants to be known as a religion of peace then it needs a reformation like Christianity and Judaism have had. It needs to have its leaders and its peoples reject violence and teach that killing innocents in the name of Allah will not result in being served for by 72 virgins in Paradise but will instead result in burning in Hell for eternity. And while it is at it, Islam should also reject the barbaric way that women and young girls are treated by far too many of Islam's adherents.
