Police Chase Go-Kart Down Oakland Freeway - VIDEO - Short Wheelbase Vehicles at High Speed Comment
This short video of the go-kart on the freeway is highly entertaining, but, please remember that short wheelbase vehicles are not necessarily as stable as regular full size automobile type vehicles due also to the differences in steering and wheel alignment systems. The full sized autos have aligned wheels that are deliberately toed outwards a bit and opened with a little camber which leans over outwards at the top and provides fairly smooth, stable steering. You've probably seen go-karts which are short wheelbase vehicles dart in and about very quickly. They have limited steering abilities, usually with sharp ratio turning. Any instability at that high speed among all those full sized vehicles could prove disastrous for the go-kart driver.
You might want to give those go-kart drivers some extra room and try to keep from tailgating them.
But, hey...'We, The Forgotten People' are probably living in some of the last freedom days of what was once considered a free country so it's great these folks appear to be having some fun.
